Please refer to the appeal letter from PDG Tony as shown below which was sent out in September.
Dear Club Presidents and District Leaders,
I write to plead for your support to “Sports Day for All” that will be held on Saturday, 2 November, 2013 at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, since we only have about a month’s time ahead and it is now very close to the deadline for possible enrolment.
“Sports Day for All” is an event jointly organized by Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation (HKBSF), Education Bureau and our District for visually impaired people to serve the purpose of creating public awareness to care the blind people of our community.
Our District has been supporting HKBSF with “Bowling Tournament for All” in past 3 years successfully. At time when we were asked to help organizing the “Sports Day for All” in May, 2013, with the blessing of the then DGE Eugene, I was invited to co-chair the event on behalf of our District.

My duty is to enroll students from the partnering schools of our Rotary Adopt A School program to participate and also, to assist HKBSF to raise sufficient funds to cover the cost of the event. Since our District does not have a budget to sponsor the event, your donation to the event is helpful and important.

At our OC meetings, it was resolved that all visually impaired people, athletes, students and Uniform youth members are free from any charges. All participants will receive other than lunchbox or snack and drink, also a Souvenir pack with a Certificate of Participation in breaking the “Longest Handshake Chain” Guinness World Record, and some souvenirs received from our generous sponsors.
I sincerely wish you to help organizing a team with your fellow Rotarians, family members, Interactors, Rotaractors and friends to participate this meaningful event and consider proposing sponsorship (from HK$3,000 to $20,000) from your Club, or from any of our generous Rotarians and leaders. For details please refer to the Enrollment forms attached.

I have attached files of our Invitation Letter, Enrollment Form with both English and Chinese versions. Please feel free to call me at 91098899 if you find any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your team at Sports Day for All on 2 November, 2013.
Wish you have a happy weekend!
With best regards,

PDG Tony Wong
